Homemade Balsamic Glaze Recipe

This beautiful glaze is not only delicious on a Watermelon Salad, but it also pairs well with a Caprese Salad.

Ingredients
  

  • 16.9 oz balsamic vinegar

Instructions
 

  • In a one quart sauce pan, reduce balsamic vinegar on medium heat for one hour and 15 minutes. The vinegar will reduce by ⅓ of the original volume.
  • Cool to room temperature and pour into a clean mason jar. Seal with an airtight lid.
  • Chill the reduction overnight to thicken the glaze. After chilling the balsamic reduction, your balsamic glaze is ready to use as needed! The glaze can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two months.
